RS-36 #5012 - Constructed in 1962 by ALCO as Atlantic & Danville (A&D) #2.
The locomotive operated under several owners including the Norfolk Franklin & Danville, Delaware Valley Railroad, Delaware Coast Line Railroad before being purchased by the Southern New England Railroad in 2018. Upon purchase, the unit was shopped to resolve electrical and mechanical issues that had developed from its career. New paint and number were applied to represent the company.
#5012 is an operational locomotive, well suited for shortline switching or road service.

The locomotive operated under several owners including Iowa Interstate, Louisville New Albany & Corydon, Lucas Oil Rail Lines before being purchased by the Southern New England Railroad in 2020.
